Hey Ho. Let's Go To The Studio - Recording Ramones

Leon has devoted much of his later career to classical, electronic avant-garde, and film music, yet his earlier work helped ignite a revolution. Fifty years ago, he produced, alongside seminal records by Blondie, Suicide, and others, the self-titled debut of the New York band Ramones. That album truly reshaped the landscape of popular music across the United States and Europe, setting a new standard for urgency and sound. In this memoir, Leon revisits the band and the recording process, offering a vivid, firsthand account of a defining moment in music history and the raw energy that made it ever unforgettable.
